Maithili Thakur Announces “Music for Mandir” India Tour in Collaboration with Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir

VRINDAVAN, INDIA – Renowned devotional and folk singer Maithili Thakur has officially announced her first-ever divine concert series, titled “Music for Mandir,” a multi-city India tour organized in collaboration with Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir (VCM).

The tour, which blends traditional bhajans with an interactive “Bhakti Jamming” experience, is part of a noble initiative to support the construction of the world’s tallest temple in Vrindavan. The concert series aims to bring the spiritual essence of Vrindavan and Ayodhya to major metropolitan hubs across the country through the power of Harinam Sankirtan.

A Soulful Journey Across India – Music for Mandir Concert

The “Music for Mandir” tour is scheduled to visit four major cities, featuring soul-stirring renditions of classical devotional songs. The itinerary includes:

  • Mumbai: May 22, 2026, at the Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium.
  • Ahmedabad: June 6, 2026, at Jaltarang, Praveg, Adalaj.
  • Bangalore: June 14, 2026, at the White Feather Convention Centre.
  • New Delhi: June 20, 2026, at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka.

Each performance is designed as a 2.5-hour immersive experience, where the audience is encouraged to move beyond passive listening and participate in congregational chanting.

Musical Highlights and Spiritual Immersions

Maithili Thakur, known for her mastery of Indian classical and folk traditions, will perform a curated selection of bhajans and kirtans. Key highlights of the repertoire include:

  • “Shyam Chanda Hai Shyam Chakori”: Celebrating the divine beauty of Radha-Krishna.
  • “Tum Utho Siya Sringar Karo”: Depicting the auspicious marriage of Sita-Ram.
